Before my interest in advertising I anticipated pursuing a degree and career in the art and design field. Here are some of my pieces.
When I started my college career as an art student, I devoted all of my time to art. As soon as I switched to advertising, I no longer had to so I forgot to give myself time to paint. With the end of the school year and graduation around the corner, I set a goal for myself- to paint for 30 minutes a day for the last 2 weeks of school. I took pictures of 2 sceneries in Richmond, both alleys, and took some time out of my day to paint them. For some reason, I have always found Richmond alleys very interesting. There are not 2 alleys that are the same, and I find that charming. What better way to remember Richmond (if/when I move away), than by my own paintings?
